Floating:  The health of your horse is directly related to the condition of his teeth.  Regular dental care will improve the weight of an older horse, increase the digestibility of his feed and will avoid problems in betting a younger horse.  We can evaluate your horse's needs and suggest a schedule of dental maintenance. Yearly exams:    We recommend that your horse be seen yearly to evaluate his teeth.  This is true both for the older horses and the young horse who may need wolf teeth removed to prevent interference with the bit.

Dental Services

During your pet's yearly wellness exam, our veterinarians will examine their mouth and if necessary recommend dental care.  Ignoring the condition of your pet's mouth can lead to periodontal disease, tooth loss and other serious health problems, such as heart, liver and kidney failure.  Our clinic can perform dental prophylaxis on your pet which will greatly improve not only his appearance and breath, but more importantly, their health and comfort.  Proper dental care can even extend the life of your pet!

Please call our knowledgeable staff for more information.  Keep in mind that February is Dental Health Month.

Call early to book your appointment!
